On 09/01/16 at 10:35 pm Deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff Department were dispatched to a shots fired call at an address on CR 1678 in Knoxville. Deputies arrived on scene and located three subjects, two of which, a male and a female, had gunshot wounds. The three subjects had been involved in an altercation.

The female subject was transported to Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville with non-life threatening injuries. The male subject who also had received gunshot wounds was transported to UAMS in Little Rock where he remains in critical condition. The third male subject, Samuel Love age 33, was transported to St. Vincent’s in Little Rock with other bodily injuries but has since been released and taken into custody.

Love has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Attempted Murder. This case is still under investigation and further information will be released as soon as it is made available.
