A 4 month-old female was pronounced dead after she was found unresponsive by her parents at a residence in Coal Hill at approximately 4:25 p.m. today.

After discovering their child was not breathing the parents called 911.  The cell-phone call was routed to Logan County where dispatchers instructed the parents on CPR while transferring the call to Johnson County 911.

Units arrived on the scene and the infant was pronounced dead at approximately 5:05 p.m.

The infant's body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to determine cause and time of death.
