Two Search Warrants Served, One Arrested

Johnson County Sheriff's Deputies served two separate drug search warrants resulting in the arrest of one person.

The first search warrant was served on Thursday, June 7 on a residence on Old Highway 64 in Knoxville where a small indoor marijuana grow operation was located.  A room lined with a foil material and containing grow lights and plants was discovered in the residence.

Deputies removed scales, drug paraphernalia, grow lights and 11 marijuana plants from the residence.

The occupant of the residence is reportedly on vacation and will be intervied upon returning.

The second search warrant was served on a residence on County Road 4491, northeast of Clarksville in the Redlick community on Monday, June 11.

Deputies seized drug paraphernalia, 11 firearms, a surveillance system and 8.7 grams of methamphetamine from the residence.

Arrested on the second search warrant was Barry Cameron, age 50 of Clarksville.  Cameron is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of A Controlled Substance With Intent To Deliver and Possession of A Firearm By Certain Persons.

Cameron's bond was set at $7500.00 cash/commercial by Circuit Judge Bill Pearson with a July 12 court date in Johnson County Circuit Court.
