Donna Hoover

Two persons were arrested Friday, June 19 by personnel of the Johnson County Sheriff's Office and 5th Judicial Drug Task Force after Franklin County Sheriff's Office personnel and the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force attempted to locate a wanted person in northwest Johnson County.  The task force personnel arrived at the residence on County Road 4021(Lee Point Trail) and made contact with the owner, Ricky Hardin, age 47.  Hardin gave officers permission to search his residence for the wanted fugitive and once inside, officers discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in plain view.  A search warrant was written and served on the residence, where several baggies of suspected methamphetamine and a disassembled methamphetamine lab were discovered.  A second person in the residence, Donna Hoover, age 42 of Mulberry was arrested and transported to the Johnson County Detention Center.  While Hoover was being processed in, several baggies of methamphetamine were discovered on her person.  Both are charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Hoover is also charged with possession of a controlled substance w/intent to deliver and contributing contraband to a detention facility.  Both went before Circuit Judge Gordon McCain on Monday, June 22 where bond was set at $10,000.00 cash/commercial for each with an initial court date of July 10.
