13 Felony Warrants Served In Two Days

13 persons were arrested on outstanding felony warrants on August 30 and 31 charging them with various offenses. Christopher Kinghorn, Derrick Rice, Francisco Cortez, Jr., Bobby Lee Phillips and Jonathan Haynes are charged with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree for damage to the Johnson County Detention Center during an incident on July 25. Caleb Dlugosh and Brock O'Neal are charged with Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property in connection with the burglary of the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church on June 30. Austin Reeves, Thomas Cowell and Jimmy Cowell are charged with Theft of Property and Criminal Mischief in connection with cattle being stolen from the Randy James farm near Hagarville on August 1. Reeves and Thomas Cowell are juveniles charged as adults in the incident. Christopher Throneberry is charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm in connection with an incident in which he accidentally shot himself. Russell Kennedy III is charged with 2 counts of Sexual Assault for having contact with a female under the age of 16 years. Nicholas Helms is charged with Breaking/Entering and Possession of Prescription Drugs W/O a Prescription. All defendants appeared before Circuit Judge Bill Pearson for bond hearings. Kinghorn, Rice, Phillips and Haynes received $10,000.00 bonds while Cortez received a $25,000.00 bond. Reeves, Cowell, Cowell, Dlugosh, O'Neal and Helms were released on their own recognizance. Kennedy received a $7500.00 bond and Throneberry received a $5000.00 bond. All defendants were given a court date of Friday, September 3 in Johnson County Circuit Court.
