The 2010 Johnson County Fair was a blazing success as far as law enforcement matters are concerned. Deputies received one report of a fight, one person was arrested for public intoxication and one person was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The Sheriff's Office had a mobile command post on-site for the first time and positive reviews were received for it. The most recurring problem was children becoming separated from a parent. There were multiple reports of lost children and most were resolved within minutes. There were an average of 6 deputies present at all times, both auxiliary and full-time.
