A court-ordered work-release inmate will be charged with bringing contraband into the Johnson County Detention Center. Michael Ryun, age 37 of Scranton was serving 30 days in the Detention Center and by court order was allowed to leave for work and return each day. Upon his return on February 1 a detention officer noticed a package fall to the floor as Ryun was being processed in to return to his cell. Upon examination of the package it was determined that it contained smokeless tobacco. Ryun is charged with Furnishing Prohibited Articles. He appeared before Circuit Judge Bill Pearson on February 2nd where his bond was set at $10,000.00 cash/commercial wih an initial court date of March 5th in Circuit Court.
