On Thursday, October 23rd at approximately 4:30 a.m. the Sheriff's Office was notified via 911 that a vehicle being driven by Dennis Daniel of Scranton was being chased by another vehicle on State Highway 352 and the female driver of the second vehicle had fired several shots at him at a residence and was continuing to fire at him while he was trying to get away.  According to statements, Mr. Daniel had gone to the Williamson residence on County Road 3171 to pick up a trailer, load it and drive to Guy, Arkansas to work.  While at the residence, the female occupant of the residence, identified as Christine Williamson, fired several shots at Mr. Daniel and a female companion and when they left the residence, she chased them in a vehicle and continued to fire shots at them.  Deputies responded to the scene and found the vehicle driven by the female abandoned in a field on her property.  An extensive search of the house and property was conducted but the suspect, Christine Williamson, could not be located.  A report was taken and will be forwarded to the prosecutor's office for charges.  Deputies will continue to search for Christine Williamson in an attempt to get a statement from her on the incident.  No one was injured.
